Each cottage is fully equipped for self-catering, featuring an inviting indoor fireplace and an outdoor braai area for memorable gatherings with friends and family. Centrally located between George, Oudtshoorn, our cottages serve as the perfect base to explore the Garden Route, and the historic mountain passes nearby.
Cottage Amenities
Two cottages accommodate up to 4 people, one is perfect for 3 guests, and the largest cottage can host up to 6 people. Each cottage is fully equipped for a comfortable stay, featuring an indoor fireplace for cozy evenings and an outdoor braai area for enjoying meals in the fresh country air. Piet-My-Vrou and Flufftail cottage has both 2 bedrooms with a private bathroom with a shower. The kitchen has a 2-plate stove, mini oven, fridge, and microwave. It has an outdoor BBQ, indoor fireplace, living room, and covered terrace offering outdoor furniture and stunning mountain views. Tarentaal cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a single bed. The bathroom has a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room has a fireplace. The terrace offers outdoor furniture and soothing mountain views. Sunset, the family cottage, features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet, and basin. The two other bedrooms, one has a double bed and the other two twin beds. The spacious main bathroom includes a bathtub, toilet, and basin. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, and fridge and the living room has a fireplace. The terrace offers outdoor furniture and beautiful mountain views. Flufftail is our dog-friendly cottage, it also has a fenced courtyard.
Cottage Rules
- No smoking in the house
- Braai and fireplace fires must be extinguished prior to going to bed
- Dogs allowed only in Flufftail cottage (must inform us if you are bringing your furry friend)
- Camp cot available on request
- No loud music
- Big Parties are not allowed at cottages (book our venue for events)
- Strictly only the stipulated number of guests for each cottage
- Nights bridge booking system requires 100% payment to book
- Private bookings through us a 50% security deposit required and outstanding balance payable upon arrival
- Don’t feed the wildlife: a fed animal is a dead animal
- Respect nature: do not pick any plants please
- Please close all windows and doors when not at your cottage as there are many baboons in the area that will take advantage of whatever is left out

Cottage Amenities
To enhance your peaceful getaway, there are no televisions, wifi and minimal cell connection at the cottages, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the tranquility and serenity of the countryside. For group bookings dinner and breakfast can be requested in advance. A natural pool is available for the enjoyment of unit occupants, and visitors can explore several hiking trails on the property. There is no Wi-Fi in the units; however, the Cellar is equipped with Wi-Fi. Free secure parking is available on the property for guests' peace of mind.
